Chin implant
It
is not uncommon for individuals to have a small chin. This
may have several effects on the overall balance of the individuals
face. From the profile a small chin actually makes the
nose look bigger. It is more masculine for men to have
a “strong” jawline and this is greatly enhanced with
chin implants.
The
procedure is performed on an outpatient basis. Local anesthesia
is usually sufficient. The incision is under the chin and
usually not visible. The majority of the swelling resolves
within the first several days. The final result will take
up to 6 months.
